Matthew Cronin
Matthew J. Cronin, Esq. is the founding partner of Cronin, Cronin & Harris. He has unique experience in tax certiorari proceedings, having spent twelve years as a member of the Board of Assessors of Nassau County, the largest assessing unit in New York State, outside of New York City. Mr. Cronin has over forty years of experience dealing with assessment issues and for the past fifteen years has focused on handling tax proceedings in the Ninth Judicial District, which consists of the Counties of Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess and Orange, where he has established relationships with many Assessors, Town Attorneys and Supreme Court Judges. Mr. Cronin represents some of the largest commercial properties in this region and has successfully reduced the taxes on malls, shopping centers, office complexes, condominiums as well as major hotels and motels. He has also successfully tried numerous cases that have not only established legal precedent, but resulted in significant reductions for properties throughout New York State. Brad Cronin
Brad W. Cronin, Esq. has focused his skills on representing property owners in tax certiorari and condemnation proceedings in Suffolk County. He has established long-term relationships with the Assessors and Attorneys for all ten Suffolk County Towns and this, combined with his extensive trial experience, has allowed him to effectively negotiate cases at the pre-trial conference stage of negotiation. Laureen Harris
Laureen Harris, Esq. has focused her area of expertise on tax certiorari proceedings and condemnation in Nassau County for over twenty-five years. In pursuit of tax certiorari relief, Ms. Harris has gained extensive trial and appellate experience setting legal precedent in a myriad of areas, both in terms of valuation as well as legal principles. Ms. Harris has successfully represented and obtained reductions on properties ranging from office complexes of over one million square feet to downtown retail stores. She is the past Chair and Vice Chair of the Nassau County Tax Certiorari & Condemnation Committee (1988 to 1992) and has continued to be an active participant in the Committee. Ms. Harris is also a Board Member of the Association for a Better Long Island (ABLI) since 1996. The ABLI is a 35-member Board of high profile developers and top real estate experts on Long Island committed to the business interests of Long Island. Sean Cronin
Sean Cronin has experience in Upstate New York, Nassau and Suffolk Counties. His current focus is in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, where he routinely negotiates and settles cases with the Nassau County Assessment Review Commission and the various Suffolk County Assessors. Sean also heads the Condemnation Department at Cronin, Cronin & Harris and has extensive knowledge in New York State Condemnation Law.
Erin O'Brien
Erin O'Brien practices in Upstate New York, Nassau County and New York City. Erin consistently negotiates and settles cases with Upstate Assessors and the Nassau County Assessment Review Commission. She has a vast knowledge of the New York City Tax Commission's rules and procedures.
